its very cheesy. but they aim it at adults as if its supposed to be profound or something.

I, too, like this movie. Yes, it's a bit cheesy but I've seen tons worse.

My guess would be that people see the previews and see that it's a military movie and upon watching it don't grasp the concept of the movie. This movie goes in many different directions most leading to the deep end of thought.
