I know people like to jump up and down and scream that remakes ruin originals (complete and total bullsh*t, btw) but in this particular case, the original was

I know the original wasn't that great. The point i was making is that Van Damme made it watchable and entertaining. Without Van Damme it would've sucked COMPLETELY. Everyone i know that has seen the film agrees that Van Damme is the reason they even watched it in the first place.

Yeah I hear ya. It'll probably look cool & have some good action scenes but I highly doubt the actors or script will be near as interesting as the original. It would be really cool if Van Damme made a cameo in it.

@skeksis53 This time they can get someone who can act, and while they're at it they can update the cars so they aren't so laughable. It could surpass the original.
