Nothing really comes to mind that is similar to Nowhere Man, however if you want good drama series with elements of mystery there is "Twin Peaks", and more recently "Lost".

It's not a tv show but I'd reccomend The Game starring Michael Douglas, about a guy who ends up in a similar situation.

I personally would recommend "JOHN DOE"..
(unfortunately another show that got canceled because of network stupidity)
It has a story line that is similar except we have a man who wakes up after begin rescued from an Asian fishing boat with no memory. But miraculously he is able to know EVERYTHING. I mean everything. From Shakespeare to Quantum physics, to knitting 🙂
You basically follow him on his quest to figure out WHO he is, using his super intelligence to help a local cop(special investigators)as you go along.
I found JOHN DOE captivating to the end but ultimately disappointing because of the unforeseen Cliffhanger at the end (which I wont mention) and the cancellation of the series 😞
Besides the cancellation, I think you will like and appreciate the show starring Dominic Percell (from the Prison Break TV series - #2 guy)

                    "This is not my life"
Good show and from New Zealand off all places
American Networks have brought the script and plan to do a US version or just help fund the current NZ one
I have yet to see it but everyone who has seen it want more and more

Unfortunately This is Not My Life was cancelled after one season as well, and left off on a cliffhanger just like Nowhere Manit's still certainly worth watching though - one of the best shows in recent years..

The Pretender, Daybreak and Journeyman I think are similar.

Since I just saw the finale tonight, I would go with Nikita starring Maggie Q.
