Any similar tv-series to recommend?

I personally would recommend "JOHN DOE"..
(unfortunately another show that got canceled because of network stupidity)
It has a story line that is similar except we have a man who wakes up after begin rescued from an Asian fishing boat with no memory. But miraculously he is able to know EVERYTHING. I mean everything. From Shakespeare to Quantum physics, to knitting
You basically follow him on his quest to figure out WHO he is, using his super intelligence to help a local cop(special investigators)as you go along.
I found JOHN DOE captivating to the end but ultimately disappointing because of the unforeseen Cliffhanger at the end (which I wont mention) and the cancellation of the series
Besides the cancellation, I think you will like and appreciate the show starring Dominic Percell (from the Prison Break TV series - #2 guy) -

Good show and from New Zealand off all places
American Networks have brought the script and plan to do a US version or just help fund the current NZ one
I have yet to see it but everyone who has seen it want more and more -
