How did they know where he would go everytime and make movies of him about recent happenings. Them making a movie about his escape with Allison. Why was it always raining. and last what was the thing about people always dropping dishes?

"How did they know where he would go everytime and make movies of him about recent happenings."
To my understanding, since he was "programmed", they most likely were tracking him with GPS or had people following him constantly to know where he was headed.

I always thought that the dropping of the dishes was a trigger for a hypnotic suggestion he was given. I noticed it the very first time I watched the pilot and thought that timing of it along with his wife's disappearance was a major clue that things weren't exactly what he thought they were.
