It’s supposed to be an innocent “plumber’s crack” joke. By censoring it, not only is the joke gone, but they’re weirdly sexualising it.
As if an old fat man with the top of his crack visible is somehow “not for kids” or something. Weird. It’s not supposed to be a sexy butt.

I agree. If you watch "Married With Children," they show buttcrack in episode 8.6 ("No Chicken, No Check") where a guy is on the floor fixing the Bundys' fridge or something. As a 13-year-old watching that episode, I was shocked that a sitcom on commercial TV would show that. But now, I'm mature enough to understand the innocent "plumber's crack" joke. "Frasier" did the same thing when Roz locked out Bulldog with his clothes off. They showed his crack for a split second.

You’re right. Thus, Max being interrupted:
Max: My life’s a living…
Guy in costume: Hello, little buddy!
But still, this PC crap is getting out of hand, such as the Michael Jackson episode of “The Simpsons” being removed after the allegations in “Finding Neverland.” -

I mean since 20th Century is owned by Disney, Freddy Got Fingered was on there last year and Tom Green jacks off a horse liked 6 minutes into the movie!
Or The First Omen. That movie has a woman on fire and a graphic birth scene.
Or Poor Things that has Emma Stone being ****ed a lot.
