That is the dumbest thing I have ever seen in a movie! Remy trashes his friends room and pulls on a gun out (with two witnesses) and yet Remy is able to freely eat lunch and properly drop out of college afterwards?? This movie was insane.
And don't even get me started how the Neo-Nazis didn't get in trouble for beating up that gay couple.

I'm sure a lot of that was based on dramatic effect, and not a total real life scenario,, of course in real life he never would have been allowed to run around like that..

Dramatic Effect? I thought this movie was suppose to be a tale of racism in this country. You can't make a movie addressing real issues with totally implausible scenarios.

Because campus security were lazy and racists. They might have been able to save Remy from suicide but no, they were too busy trying to detain Malik, (a black guy who didn't have a weapon) even after he told them Remy had just pulled a gun on him.
