        That was just part of the costume. That was Clinton Leupp. He is also a well known drag queen.

          I wondered why Coco Peru (the same one you're talking about) crushed a plastic cup after looking at Veda. I guess it was because she envied Vida, but it's still a little unexplained

            Gay writer Quentin Crisp (sic?) Has a cameo in the film as one of the judges. It's quick and you may need to pause it to see him.
            He was in his sixties or seventies at the time and had been openly gay throughout his life.
