Yeah the HK 94 was her gun that she had left at his house, Earl went "Ouch!" because that basically means that she's leaving him. I think Burt even says that she needed time to herself because he (Burt) couldn't live without the constant threat of Global War or something along those lines.

I haven't seen it in a while, but he said that she was at her sisters', and that she wasn't coming back: "She even asked me to send her the HK-91." This is - in today's market in the USA - an expensive rifle, costing upwards of $5000 today, probably about $2500 back when Tremors was filmed. (keeping in mind, you could have bought a new Colt AR-15 at the same time, for a mere $600)
He also mentions something about him being difficult to live with after the collapse of the Soviet Union, LMAO!

She left him and he claimed it as she was still at her sister's. but later on he mentions something about how she blamed their problems on the fall of the soviet union because apparently burt took it to hard.

^^This. She wasn't coming back, Burt & Heather probably had a big argument that led to Heather leaving Burt. I always felt bad for Burt, and I liked how he only told Earl about it too.
