in amerika we pay into a govt fund called 'social security' and 'medicare." a SMALL percentage of your paycheck gets deducted. mathematically, because the contribution is such a small percentage and the benefit checks so may times larger in outright dollars, that after 7 years the recipient has used up every penny contributed.
do the checks stop once the contributions are gone you ask? why no. that would pure naked capitalism with a side order of laisse faire libertarianism. what we do is impliment a small s dose of good old fashioned socialism and keep those checks rolling curtesy of those currently working. those receiving the checks have no legal or moral claim to the money. But hey! whats wrong with a watered down version of marxian communism anyway.
