              Yes it's based on a event that happened in the 1930's but they decided to move the story to medieval times instead.

                    No. I'm fairly certain there is no historical value of any kind in this story. The castle and surrounding kingdom might as well have been Generia, Vaguengland.

                      From what I recollect, Draco was later reincarnated as the Malfoy's son in Harry Potter.
