Arnie was at his Arniest, the female lead kicked ass, the villain was great and the action
Thought it was just pure fun.
When I watch a lame action flick, I can't remember the action sequences.
However with this film I can name the dock shootout, alligator fight, plane fight.
It was also surprisingly funny.
"You're luggage!" was flat out hilarious for me as my subtitle in Korean translated to "Now you're gonna be made into handbags" (but it was much shorter sentence so it was great one liner).
Had a real good time.

This is often on telly in the UK, so I've enjoyed it since its been on as its a lot of fun (as you aforementioned).

i had a lot of fun with it, surprised by the low rating
The rating is fine. It's 6 stars out of 10. 6.1 to be exact. It kept getting higher year after year.
Having 6 stars here for an action movie, especially one with Arnie, is actually pretty good. Especially considering what the IMDb crowd tends to UPvote and DOWNvote
Bottom line: ever since 2005 the IMDb ratings are a complete and utter joke and people are very much aware of that. Back in the day it was usually like this: anything with a rating above 5.0 is worth checking out."You don't watch Michael Bay films. They happen to you."
