Mine is definitely during the pool party when the camera is moving around the house and the patio showing the individual

There are so many great scenes, its hard to narrow them down. The scene you've chosen is fantastic!
I also love the Little Bill New Years sequencegreat music too.
Can't forget the drug deal gone wrong sequence with an underrated performance by Alfred Molina. -

I think Molina is a bit underrated in this film, but that's just my opinion.
First, his part was very small but memorable; a standout scene for me. He chewed up all the scenery during his performance all while sharing the scene with three great actors in Mark Wahlberg, John C Reilly, and Thomas Jane.
Next, his physical transformation was great. Molina usually has a bit of heft but here, he was so pale and skinny. I saw the film twice before I realized it was him. He looked like an extremely credible dope fiendtotally tweeked out and this seems to be a departure from the roles he's known for. Very versatile actor.
I think it was moreso his character that was over the top, rather than his performance. He acted exactly as I would imagine a wealthy, drug fuelled eccentric would. Lol -

If I never looked it up, to this day I still wouldn't have recognized Molina and I watch Boogie Nights at least once a year. Molina looks completely different in Magnolia and that's only a couple years after Boogie Nights. Great actor!

Mine is definitely during the pool party
That is mine too, particularly the scene with the extended conversation between Eddie and Reed which leads to them becoming friendly.
Reed Rothchild: Have you seen that Star Wars movie?
Eddie Adams: Yeah, I've seen it four times.
Reed Rothchild: You know, people tell me I kind of look like Han Solo. -

Pool party and the drug deal gone wrong scene with Rahad Jackson really stand out. The pool party primarily for PTA's stylish direction and movement of camera, and the drug deal is just insane: perfect combination of humor, tension, unpredictability. I mean, you do kind of get the sense that there's no way this will go smoothly, but the scene just keeps you on edge with Cosmo (
he's Chinese!
) tossing firecrackers, Rahad dancing around and singing and pulling out his gunand I love the part where "Jessie's Girl" is playing and Dirk is just staring into space, either taking the lyrics of the song to heart or just in a drugged-out stupor, but either way it's a remarkable moment.

and just like you said, the music is so important in that drug deal scene. This is definitely my fav movie for usage of music. The way it's used in this is so perfectly done in the scenes that even in the cases in which music isn't as front and center as "Jessie's Girl" or "Sister Christian" I still can't imagine that scene without something that happened to be playing in the background.
One example that comes to mind for that :
The use of "Driver's Seat" when Floyd shows up to the NYE party with the "new kids". That is the moment in the movie when things start to go sour. Everything was going great for everyone right up to that moment when he showed up and started arguing with Jack about video vs film. That argument starts to put a dim look on the future, and then Little Bill shoots his wife and himself. And then it's "the 80's" and everything starts to get even worse from there. More "new kids" (which pisses off Dirk); more coke ; Colonel gets thrown in prison etc. And it all starts at that moment "Driver's Seat" comes on. I think that's perfect because "Driver's Seat" has somewhat of a cynical sound to it, especially those opening moments to it. -

Loved the shopping sequence when we see that they all get matching outfits and Philip Seymour Hoffman's outfit doesn't really fit. I find it funny, cute and a bit sad all in one.
The limo scene is amazing as well.
And of course, naked rollergirl on the couch and the Julianne Moore sex-scene are both personal favorites for other reasons

If I am not mistaken I think this girls real name is Grace Bustos
I try look it up hope I got her name correct. Personally myself I thought she was one of the best looking women in the movie. That why I did all that research for.
