Or as Mr. Tumnus's book was titled
"Is Man a Myth?"
Love to get ahold of a copy of that someday. I mean really, a species who preys on their own kind, exploits and kills their own kind for no good survival reason and seems to only revel in destruction and carnage, allowing themselves to be led by soulless greedy and destructive leaders. C'mon! Someone made those things up, sounds like a bad B Sci-Fi movie! -

I was in my living room, facing the wall with the window to my right; and out of the corner of my eye I could see something small hovering in front of the window. I turned real quick and saw it right before it flew off.
It was amazing, I'll never forget it or doubt it.
I think as long as you believe with your whole heart, they will reveal themselves to you. -

I do, I've seen a little man (about a foot and a half) sittting underneath a tree. If you believe (truly do) it'll booste your chance. (And yes I'm a guy)
Most of my heritage is from the British Isles so I think believing in them, studying, and reading about them is just what I should do. -

I most definately believe in all magical creatures, and fairies are among my top faves. I mean, if we have gaurdian angels, then why not plants and animals? And plus I believe I've seen a myriad of them, or someting odd. I even believe I might have caught a few on pictures. Anyway, when it comes down to it, I will not deny! =^_^=

I believe in fairies. I don't think anyone should ever tell children that fairies and santa clause and merpeople are fake. It's so awful "
what? are you serious? so you would rather lie to little kids and get their hopes up for years and then finally have to break their hearts by telling them the truth one day?
and we ALL know that Santa is just our Parents buying us beep from the store, wrapping it while we are supposed to be sleeping and then putting it under a tree.
come on lady, grow up. leave living in fantasy realms to little kids.
and I am all for letting the kiddies believe in what they want, hell if my kids wanted to believe in fairies, or merpeopleetc, That is fine, but I am not gonna go around encouraging this sort of thought, I am not going to tell them this stuff is real, because that is lying, and any sensible adult here on IMDB will agree with me when I say all this. -

For a little perspective, I suggest a re-reading of "Yes, Virginia, There is a Santa Claus" by Francis Parcellus Church of The New York Sun. http://www.newseum.org/yesvirginia/

I believe. And Jolykiwi, you are right, about 80% of people in Iceland say they believe in what they call the huldufolk. The government even use mediums to make sure that potential building sites are not inhabited by fairies.

Well now I don't believe in God, but I wouldn't go around accusing people who do of being idiots. Everyone's entitled to their own beliefs, even if it seems silly to you. Some people believe in fairys, some people believe George Bush Jnr is a real live boy and not at all a puppet made of wood, taking advice from a talking cricket . . . I know who I'd trust to mind my wallet while I went to the bathroom. If people want to dream of incredible things in a world that seems to me to be increasingly heartless, well maybe they're onto something. The universe is full of things we can't explain.

I think he would have done a heck of a lot better to take advice from a bug than from Dick Cheney and Karl Rove (aka Satan).
Well, the city's being built and I'm winning this game. So don't interrupt us with trifles.
