Does anyone believe in faeries?

I believe in fairies, or faeries, if you want to spell it that way. I do believe in magical creatures, and magic. A hundred years ago, people wouldn't believe a lot of the stuff we have done or discovered. I want people to believe, but, like in the movie, I don't want everything to be discovered. I don't want us to discover the secrets of the seas, or the stars. I think some things should just be left a mystery, because I think that's where life truly lies, in mystery and imagination. Though I think everyone should try at least to consider these, and not to tell people that magic and fairies and dragons don't exist. It's a crime to me, to restrict a person's imagination. Or saying, well, when they're little, it's okay to believe in things like that, but when adults do it, people say they are immature and gullible. I think imagination should be loved and allowed to grow, not stifled. I think if a person wholeheartedly believes in something, then it becomes, or must be, real.

Science and rational thinking is great. Life in itself is Wonderful. But
there's still magic and mystery in the Universe. Let it ever be so! Though I've never seen one:

Yeah perhaps to someone suffering from mass delusions sitting in a psych ward somewhere. I mean come ON. are you all serious? Fairies? FAIRIES?!?!
I have no problem with using one's imaginationI do it all the time. I am a very creative person
But this is beyond all reason.
I love the Lord of the RIngs for examlpe
But I UNDERSTAND that all of it is a work of fiction. There are no elves, orcs, dwarves, or evil monstrs lurking about and there never were. They are FICTION.
Just like fairies and all of your other mythical creatures and concepts.

As long as you believe, they will reveal themselves to you. When I was on vacation in Vermont, I took a lot of pictures of this area surrounding the hotel. When I developed the pictures, the trees were full of little clusters of light. One picture of a rose had a distinct fairy-like silhouette in it. I had ALWAYS believed, but this sort of firmed the belief. I was also told that if you see darting shadows in corners or whatever, you are seeing fairies. This happens all the time in my house. I am without a doubt a 100% believer in fairies and all creatures magical.

I abolutely not only believe in them, I just adore them. They are such beautiful creatures. I think there is alot of things that could be real, that just don't reveal themselves to us, I mean heck if you were were to observe the human race, would you reveal yourself to us??? They would probably be scared that we would catch them, run tests on them & dissect them & if the right person seen one, they probably would. I believe their are several species that exist, that we haven't discovered. It would be easy for them to stay hidden & if Mer-people existed, it would be easy for them to stay hidden from us as well, we have not discovered every square inch of the ocean
That is why they only reveal themselves to pure souls.
I mean if Angels can exist, why would it be too far fetched for faeries to exist?
Jack: I love those moments.I like to wave at them as they pass by. -

The only reason the concept of fairies and other magical concepts hasnt been forgotten is because losers like you and the others in this board keep it alive because you can't bare reality without your hopes and sad beliefes in small little creatures with wings that hide from us all and live in trees.
wtf guys you all can't be serious.
show me a fairie and I will beleive, in fact not only will i believe but I will quite litterally so kiss the feet of every person who posted that they believe in fairies. -

you are making a random assumption based on my typing skills, that I am undeducated, and a loser with no life. HA
What I said, was backed the affirmation of most of the posters on this board.
The fact that you all believe in Fairies.
ridiculous. -

I believe in Loch Ness Monster, Bigfoot, and UFOs. I've never really given Fairies much thought though. Someone mentioned dragons, and it is a widely held theory that dragons are just dinosaurs that survived.
Personally, if they didn't exist, no one would ever see them, so they must.

Bigfoot absolutley do I believe in.
Lochness and other similar creatures? Perhaps.
ALiens. Definatley.
and as for Aliens
Only the truly arrogant can live their life thinking we are the only sentient beings in the universe, and if you wonder why they would come here? well I am sure that if the roles were reversed and we had the technology to visit other planets and spy on them, we would. which is a scary thought, because humanity doesnt deserve that power, because most likely we would use it for greed and destruction.
