I like to think so. even if in a pretending sort of way i love to tell children that there are, magic is (even if just a small part) part of childhood, i`ve brought my two girls up thinking that there were fairies i think it good to have a bit of imagination, i hope that they do the same for their children one day lifes difficult enough when you grow up nice to have a bit of escapism! thanks V

I believe wholeheartedly in merpeople, but with faeries it's a little difficult for some people because there isn't a lot of possibility as to how they came to be. Unless you count James Barrie's explanation in Peter Pan, which I do. In the back of my house there was a big dying tree covered in funguses. It looked so magical to me when I was eight that I called it my "faerie tree," and made it a house for my two faerie dolls. Four years later, my stepdad and grandpa cut it down and replaced it wth a puny maple seedling. I was kind of sad, and asked them "Why did you do that? That was the faerie tree!"

"Do faeries believe in people?"
Haha, considering humans are one of the most dominant life forms and because of our structures and things I have little doubt about them believing in us.
Then again faeries could be the exact same way and most people don't believe in them.

I believe in merpeople and faeries But not really dragons because you'd think we would've found them by now considering the way they're supposed to act and how big they're supposed to be But I guess you never know since new animals are found all the time.

Or as Mr. Tumnus's book was titled
"Is Man a Myth?"
Love to get ahold of a copy of that someday. I mean really, a species who preys on their own kind, exploits and kills their own kind for no good survival reason and seems to only revel in destruction and carnage, allowing themselves to be led by soulless greedy and destructive leaders. C'mon! Someone made those things up, sounds like a bad B Sci-Fi movie! -

I was in my living room, facing the wall with the window to my right; and out of the corner of my eye I could see something small hovering in front of the window. I turned real quick and saw it right before it flew off.
It was amazing, I'll never forget it or doubt it.
I think as long as you believe with your whole heart, they will reveal themselves to you. -

I do, I've seen a little man (about a foot and a half) sittting underneath a tree. If you believe (truly do) it'll booste your chance. (And yes I'm a guy)
Most of my heritage is from the British Isles so I think believing in them, studying, and reading about them is just what I should do. -

I most definately believe in all magical creatures, and fairies are among my top faves. I mean, if we have gaurdian angels, then why not plants and animals? And plus I believe I've seen a myriad of them, or someting odd. I even believe I might have caught a few on pictures. Anyway, when it comes down to it, I will not deny! =^_^=
