I'm glad they went with Monica Keena…

Much as I like Alicia, I have to agree. Monica suited the part perfectly. She had the wholesome innocent look that the role required. I also couldn't imagine Alicia quite working with black hair. (I think Geller is a bit too much of a light-weight actress to have done the part justice.)

I'm glad they went with that girl too. When I first watched this movie I thought Sigourney Weaver was Snow White but then I realized it was that young pretty girl Lilli that was to be the main character and Weaver was the witch. Keena was perfect in the role I very much enjoyed her performance.
Also where did you people get that information about the other prospective actresses for the main role? The DVD has no special features and the Wiki entry has no info on that either. I would like to learn as much as I can about this movie I love making-of features but the DVD has none. -

It seems like they purposely looked to caste a natural blonde as Snow White. So when they put the black hair on her, the contrast between her skin coloring and hair would be more extreme.
Oh, well that's different. Nevermind!

You know who would've been perfect for the part as well? Alexis Bledel, she's very beautiful, fairest skin ever! Big blue eyes, look of innocence and all she would make an amazing snow white. Well maybe not now that she's older, but she would've been a good snow white.
