Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — The House of Yes

I just watched the movie tonight and noticed that she has a bandage on the palm of her left hand.Is it ever revealed why she has the bandage or is something that we're supposed to figure out for ourselves? I fell asleep for about 10 minutes during the movie but I went back and watched what I missed but I still never heard any mention of the bandage.
Also, why is it called The House of Yes?
All in all I've got to say this is one weird movie.

The only thing I can think about the bandage is that it's a reference to the play. In the play, Anthony tells Marty about how, a couple of days prior to the events of Thanksgiving, she was holding a flat bottle of spritzer and it melted in her hand, causing third-degree burns. That's the only thing that I can think in reference to that.
I think it's called The House of Yes because none of the Pascal children have never been told no. Mrs. Pascal says at one point, "Jackie-O can have everything she wants. She always has."
      And the flame still burns.

Yes, it's explained in the movie that Jackie flipped out because the seltzer was flat, so she boiled it on the stove, then tried pouring it back into the plastic bottle, which melted on her hand and gave her third degree burns.
