I saw this movie for the first time last night, and while the plot and acting (with the possible exception of Parker Posey, but c'monher playing a good psychotic chick is a bit like Morgan Freeman doing a good job of playing a good natured, older black man) aren't anything special, I was completely blown away by the dialogue.
From the very first exchange between Jackie O and Anthony, I knew I would like this movie. By the third, I had to tell other people to check it out. -

I agree. There were some awesome lines in this movie. For example:
"I didn't mean to maim you; I only meant to kill you."
And:
Leslie: "I don't think you're insane; I think you're spoiled."
Jackie-O: "Please. If people are going to start telling the truth around here, I'm going to bed." -

Hehe, i was always a fan of
Lesly: "So what does that name mean?"
Jackie-O: "In french?"
Lesly nods
Jackie-O: "I think it means something German."
Marty: "It means, 'loving mother's milk.'"
Lesly: "You speak french?"
Marty: "No. German." -

I had to imagine the movie and play were similar. I loved this movie so much I tried to watch all of Mark S. Water's movies (Head over Heel, Freaky Friday, Confessions of a Drama Queen). Big mistake! He must have stuck pretty close to the original, because he doesn't appear to have a talented bone in his body!
The French-German wine exchange is my favorite as well. I also love the ice exchange:
(approximately)
Jackie: That's the most beautiful piece of ice I've ever seen!
Marty: It used to be bigger.
Jackie: Gee, I wonder what happened?
Marty: I don't know, but it happened somewhere between here and the kitchen.
Jackie: Your hand is wet. Could that be a clue?
