Very few movies hit it right on every point. The story, the direction, the choice and placement of music at just the right points, to the performances. I haven't seen a lot of movies where every performance was damn near perfect. This was one of them.
Jackie Brown is one of those desert island movies I can watch over and over and still love. I re-watched it the other night, and have had Strawberry Letter 23 and Street Life in my head since. Great movie.

One of Tarantino's best IMO although not heralded as much as his other films. It's definitely a fave. It's timeless.

Three films, "Pulp Fiction", "Reservoir Dogs", and "JB". The first two get the most recognition while "JB" is Tarantino's masterpiece.

Yeah, it's pretty great. A truly underrated movie and a very subtle, mature effort for Tarantino's usual standards. The three main performances were terrific and the soundtrack was amazing too.
This is - excuse me - a damn fine cup of coffee.

Jackie Brown is also much, much better than its source material. I could barely finish reading Rum Punch, but like you I can re-watch JB over and over again.
