the locations dont look like the 50s at all
acting is plain and boring

This movie is currently #102 in the Top 250 Movies, and has a 90/100 rating on Metacritic. But I guess the public and the critics are all wrong and YOU are right. Not.
Go watch some "farm pig family movie".

I've never been able to watch it all the way through. It fails to entertain at the most fundamental level. I find it hard to respect the taste of people who claim it's some kind of masterpiece. I think they're just saying what they think they should say.
