Freedom definitely has some less than desirable consequences, but I think I'd prefer to live with that rather than living in a country that will arrest you for subjectively "controversial" opinions. No thanks, you socialist slaves can be skinny.

I do think sugary drinks are to blame for a lot of Americans being obese. It's not easy to eat a lot of calories but it's easy to drink a lot of calories.
Europeans generally care more about their food than Americans. I respect them for that. -

I'm tired on medication, and it takes time, which is fine in and of itself, just that there is less to spend on other things, unless you watch TV while you are on your feet and about cooking. I feel less sick, too, cooking full, somewhat healthy meals. A lot of it has been a sorta Americanized Japanese feel, labeled as Japanese. However, 3 recipes required, 1 of them 1/2 cup of brown sugar and 2 of them white sugar, I think. I liked the one with brown sugar best so far. I exercised a lot a little while ago, and coupled with cooking myself I've stayed thinner looking.
