Nick Nightingale telling Bill about the masked orgy in the Sonata Cafe. It’s captivating and intriguing - you can’t wait to find out what the hell he’s talking about. Love the late night jazz cafe vibe and Nick is a great character - friendly guy who’s smart and witty, great rapport with his old friend Bill.
Alice’s ‘if you men only knew’ speech. Again, totally captivating story and Cruise’s reaction of dumbfounded jealousy is priceless. It’s the ultimate brain-worm scene, it needs to be effective to drive all of Cruise’s actions going forwards and it totally succeeds.
Also have to mention Bill’s final encounter with Ziegler. Sydney Pollack is great as the avuncular and likeable, yet sinister Ziegler. His rolled up sleeves, hairy wrists and whiskey glasses are a hoot. The revelations about being at the party and knowing all about Bill’s actions are jaw dropping. -

I don't have 2. Only one. This one. It is very powerful emotional scene that has 2 levels. The husband's paranoia and his wife's curiosity. And the fact that her placing the mask of the pillow was his wife's invitation for sexual exploration. She would have loved that party he just ran away from.
