In times of national crisis, the public always rallies behind the president and they always get a boost. These don't always last, and can swing back the other way very quickly. Trump will have to handle this with more care if he wants to avoid that.

That is true, and public sentiment can swing either way. But I think it will stay high because he is now doing a great job handling it.
He's certainly doing a better job than Pelosi who delayed the relief package for days by trying to add absurd Democrat Pork, like money for the Kennedy Center.
BTW, after the Kennedy Center received millions of dollars from the government, they promptly
laid off
all their employees. Nice.
