I watched about 30 minutes of this but I was so tired I went to bed. I have the rest to watch still (I recorded it, hehehe)
RIGHT. the personal who introduced it said it was a 'cult classic'. I found this odd as I can find little following on the internet. Is it a cult film of not? (its also a little new to be a classic) -

I have no idea about that but I watched i last night with my friend (presumably on the same channel as you did), and I don't know if I'm just being completely ditzy and stupid, but what the hell were those screw/bone things he put in a case by each womens name? If anyone knows please post back here. Thanks!

Not sure about its status as a cult classic I understand that it is a film that does have many supporters who believe it to be one of the greatest vampire films of recent times, but i am sure that not even those people would consider it a "classic".
In reply to your question woteva: Those tiny nail-like objects that he put in the box were the crystals he coughed up as he took each woman's blood. The strongest emotion that the woman he killed felt for him is represented by the crystal. (The emotions that he writes down in his black book are the ones from each woman's crystal).
I am not great at explaining this so i hope that made some sense

I have no idea if this movie's a cult film or not. I've read horrible reviews about it, but also great reviews all I know is that it shocked me. I love it and I think is controversial enough to be considered that.

Taken from Wikipedia:
"A cult film is a film that has acquired a highly devoted but relatively small group of fans. Often, cult movies have failed to achieve fame outside of the small fanbases; however, there have been exceptions that have managed to gain fame amongst mainstream audiences.."
So yes, this film is cult classic, one of which I am not a fan of.
