When your wife and mother of your children asks you to come on The Maury Show to tell you a secret it doesn't take a rocket scientist for you to know that she is going to reveal that she cheated on you and that you may not be the father of your children.Yet week after week Husbunds come on the show and claim that they have no idea what the secret that their wives are going to reveal might be.Does anyone suspect that they do know before hand but the Maury Show producers tell them to act surprised?
Plus Maury seems to always justify a woman cheating by saying "in a moment of weakness she found comfort in the arms of another man" but if a guy cheats he is a no good cheating dog.I wish someone would one day ask Maury why he chalks up a woman cheating to a moment of weakness but doesn't say the same for men who cheat.
So it's treason then! -

You said it yourself in the other thread - the show is biased to women. Faux-Feminism to get ratings. Double standards pretending to be actual empowerment to make the bored housewives feel better and support the show.
Everyone, this is Alice. Please welcome Alice to the show.
(Audience: applause)
A few years ago, she met this man, Bob. She fell in love with him and devoted herself to their relationship.
(Audience: Aww)
So naturally, she was
devestated
to find out that Bob had
betrayed her
her by sleeping with another woman!
(Audience: Oooh!)
Andto make matters worse, it was IN THEIR OWN BED!
(Audience: groans)
Everyone, this is Alicia. Please welcome Alicia to the show.
(Audience: applause)
A few years ago, she met this man, Rob. She fell in love with him and devoted herself to their relationship.
(Audience: Aww)
Everything was going great until one day when Alicia made a
mistake
in a moment of weakness. During a rough patch in their relationship, she sought comfort in the arms of another man.
(Audience: Aww)
And did you know the audience is being coached? People have said here and in youtube comments that when they attended the show, someone would tell them to always cheer the woman/boo the man. -

Yes I kind of suspected that the audience was being prompted to boo the guys who come out. What really ticks me off is when a husbund finds out that not only has his wife cheated but his child is not his Maury always chimes in with"I have a child at home that's not mine and I love that child like it's one of my own".Well Maury that's all fine and dandy for you but adopting a child with your wife is one thing but you know damn well that that is not the same as accepting a child that you thought was yours that turned out to be from your wife having a one night stand or her sleeping with your best fiend.Maury is such a hack case in point when women come on the show saying that they have been spying on their suspected cheating boyfriends and going through their phones Maury and hs coached audience start cheering them on.But when the situation is reversed and a man does the exact same thing Maury and his coached audience boo and act like he is acting sinister.

Some years ago I caught a bit of a Jerry Springer Show, where the wife/girlfriend had revealed her secret and they brought in her husband/boyfriend. He was a nice looking, mild mannered guy.
Jerry asked him if he knew why he was there. His was the most honest answer I have heard on one of these shows. "She brought me here, so it isn't good, is it?" -

Which is why I don't understand what these couples say when one of them books Maury and on plane ride and in hotel the morning before. I think if someone told me "I called !aury and they want us to be on next week so I can tell you a secret" I would say "uh no tell me now to spare me the pain and embarrassments on national tv."
Consider the daffodil. And while you're doing that I'll be over here looking through your stuff.

It's all fake and staged. The couple knows exactly why they're going on the show and sometimes they exaggerate or possibly lie about their situations.
I once met a gay couple who went on Jerry Springer. They were actually proud of it. They were flown in from California, put up in a hotel and had a limo bring them to the studio. They said after the taping, they weren't treated as nicely and had to take a cab to the airport (no limo). -

MAURY is so well known that surely somebody must tell these people what they're getting involved in before they go! How many people (friends and family) to these people have, on average? Surely before they leave they tell everyone that they're going to be on MAURY.
Are we to believe that not one person speaks up and tells them what the show is about? "You're going on Maury? She's got a secret she's going to break to you and you don't have any idea what it's about? Listen, here's the kind of stuff they do on MAURY."

My friend went to a taping and told me they we're literally coached to boooooooooo every male on stage. Even if the woman was a low down hood rat slvt, boo the man cause he's the automatic "bad guy" to the producers. Gives these hood rat trash hoes the false ego boost that they're victims for sleeping with half of the town and complaining how the five different men won't give her cash do their possible baby without DNA testing first.
