I saw this film recently and loved it. Being a fan of 70s and 80s slasher flicks i have seen so many good ones and very bad ones. So i was very surprised to see such a low rating on imdb. This was by far one of the weirdest slasher flicks ever and it was great.
I erge any horror fan to dig it out and watch it 6/10 -

I had rented this back in the 80's as a kid, but I couldn't remember if I liked it or not. So I rented it through Netflix, I'm a big fan of slashers from this era, and far from being the worse slasher I've seen, I just didn't enjoy it. It still has some great ideas, and it's always nice to see any slasher that came out back then that wasn't just trying to be another Friday the 13th/Halloween clone(though I enjoy most of those too. I am glad that films like these are getting released on DVD(thank you Code Red)
Some slashers I like:
Slumber Party Massacre
Hide and Go Shriek
Slaughterhouse
Halloween(some of the sequels)
Friday the 13th(1 thru 5)
Happy Birthday To Me
Sleepaway Camp
The Burning
Just Before Dawn
Pieces
Don't Go In The Woods
Final Exam
Girls Nite Out
Death Warmed Up
Hell Night
House on Sorority Row
Terror Train
The Zero Boys
Bloody Birthday
Prom Night
Humongous
Clownhouse
Madman

I really enjoyed this film as well. The cannibal guy was genuinely creepy, plus the whole supernatural element was very fresh and inspired. The movie also manages to build up a good deal of tension, with the opening murder set piece rating as a strong and suspenseful highlight.
300 bios and counting. -

I don't think it's great, but I enjoy it. I love the stiff acting of the friend with the moustache. And the failed attempts at comedic banter when they're eating steaks near the beginning. And that bad theme song. And the two children actually was a pretty original idea.
Yeah, I'm ripping on it. But I do genuinely enjoy it, and am proud to own it. -

This to me was one of the better 80's horror movies. And actually folks this is more of a psycological horror movie then just slashing. Sure the man kills everyone, but it also has ghost in it,and creepy ghost at that. I brought this movie from a little Record/CD/DVD store for about 6 bucks. I never heard of the movie so I said its worth a try. I purchased it and later watched it one night a few months ago,and it was good. In some ways it reminded me of "Friday the 13th"(1979), it was just as good. I like how they casted late 20's-30 somethings in this and not your typical dumb teenagers as the lead characters.
I like this movie, and probably will watch it again on a lazy Saturday afternoon.
