In her first North American concert tour in six years, Pop diva Mariah Carey is seeing very slow ticket sales for her upcoming "All The Hits" concert tour which starts in a few weeks. She's set to tour 35 cities (with Lionel Ritchie), including a stop in Madison Square Garden on April 1.
Tickets are selling so slowly, that Ticketmaster has been pushing a 'Buy One / Get One Free' for every ticket purchased between now and Valentine's Day. Insiders are saying the diva, who ruled the pop charts in the 90s, suffered a serious blow to her image on New Year's Eve when she failed to keep up with her songs (or lip-synch properly) on live TV.
A rep for Carey, however, says ticket sales are 'beyond great' and Carey is working hard to give her fans a real treat.

Hmmm. Makes me wonder if those ticket buyers are really there to see Lionel Ritchie. I'd enjoy his concert over Carey's.

I pulled up Ticketmaster for the nearest venue (Baltimore) and I didn't realize Lionel Ritchie was the headline act. Now if his guest act was the Commodores I'd be there! (lol)

I'm going to see Lionel (again) and while I love 90s Mariah I am not looking forward to seeing her. I bought tix during the presale now I wish I had waited. When Lionel came here in 2013 tix sold very quickly so I figured they would again.
