Is the perfect example of why the Democrats lost. FU Streep and feel free to give up most of your money to poor people. Come on, liberals that support socialism. Prove it by working for the government

Well better get use to it, or you will probably need to not watch award shows for the next 4 to 8 yrs. Bush yrs are gonna seem tame to the sorta stuff they will whining about in the coming years.

Listening to them may also mean listening to their movies. Much like the small swell driven by fans regarding the NFL, we may choose to use our money differently where movies are considered. Meryl Streep has never been a favorite of mine, but I never avoided her movies prior to her using the GG to further her politics. She must actually believe her character's usual integrity belongs to her personally.
However, I'll try to attend all of Ryan Gosling's and Tom Hiddleston's movies in the future. Class acts were apparent in the drivel of this awards show.

Interesting alternative, but exactly how many Scott Baio, Antonio Sabato Jr. and Dennis Miller movies do Republicans have to choose from?

Geez, pvd, that's not the point! I know those last three actors are on your permanent sh#t list because they came out for Trump. I really don't need a lot of actors "to choose from." I actually prefer old movies myself. Just a few nights ago I watched Becket on youtube, a movie I always wanted to see. Peter O'Toole and Richard Burton, two of the greatest actors of the 20th century! Some of the pretty boy actors today could not hold a candle to their talent. I watch a lot of old films. But movies are not the most important part of my life. I could live without bigmouth know-it-all Streep for the rest of my days!
The problem is Hollywood know-it-alls taking advantage of Hollywood's endless self congratulatory award shows and using them as a platform to lecture America. Really? What have these dummies been doing for their entire professional careers but reciting lines written for them by someone ELSE? How does that qualify them to speak on serious social issues?
For me, I gave up on award shows looooong ago. I think it was when know-it- all Susan Sarandon and her equally tiresome husband Tim Robbins lectured America during an award show many years ago. I think it was the Oscars. No offense, just my opinion, most actors are egomaniacs.
Facts are not liberals strong suit. Rhetoric is. Thomas Sowell

I did, too. They so clearly don't care about the best anything.
The movie Zodiac, which is maybe the best film of the 2000s was not even nominated for BP. It is a masterpiece!
Jaws, the greatest film ever made (or will ever be made) didn't win an Oscar for Best Picture, either.
                Madness!

She twisted things to the left. Trump was talking about illegals so unless some actors/actresses are here illegally there's no issue. I doubt Hollywood will be short on actors and actresses.
Many more stupid and bad movies will be made so don't worry.

The utter hypocrisy of the Hollywood elite is that they would embrace the tax breaks. How about of instead of going to your fancy dinners they will take the money and give them to the poor.
