The view has shifted more towards talking about DWTS non-stop. Eitherway they talked about these and all ABC shows as part of inprogram advertising, and not because Elisabeth Hasselback or probably Sara Haines now have such a great love for these shows they must make it a hot topic everyweek.

There was way too much to talk about to include The Bachelor. They could barely discuss all the things that happened in the past two weeks. Don't worry The Bachelor will come up soon and I am sure they will have Sara talk about it. I stopped watching it a long time as I got bored, but I must admit the new bachelor Nick is frickin HOT and I can't get enough of that delicious man!

I would think both Sara and Jedediah would like talking about it.
I have never watched The Bachelor or The Bachelorette. I just watch Jimmy Kimmel and he pretty much summarizes those shows.

Yes,I was being realistic - more like sight months 'till he calls it quits.

I haven't watched the Bachelor in years and for some unknown reason, watched it the other night. And as usual, these women are fighting for the guy's attention with one woman planting a passionate kiss on him to I guess "mark her spot". I think the same woman said she was going to his room to have sex with him. So I was reminded why I haven't watched the Bachelor in years. The desperation of those women is pretty sad.

pal princess, I guess I'm naive to hope all talk of The Bachelor and Dancing With The Stars, etc. will stop. Elisabeth Hasselbeck was such a fan of The Bachelor; there was even a dopey video of her watching a final episode and asking her husband to give her a rose.
I don't watch the show, but my brother's wife told me the same about Nick - ha! I'll let her know I "met" another fan.

I guess 'reality shows' are here to stay. That's all the networks - especially the cable networks - fill their schedules up with these days.

Yes, the era of reality shows. I understand that it's also much cheaper to produce a reality show than other types of shows.

I think this panel has really clicked. There's been enough continuity these last months that the women are comfortable with one another and converse easily.
I agree - it was a very enjoyable hour. I think it will keep it's momentum for as long as Trump is president.

The first half hour of today's show, January 5th, was also very impressive! Solid hot topics on solid matters - politics of the day, including discussion of doctors refusing to treat patients who've had abortions or transgender surgery. The panel did an excellent job covering all aspects of the issue and letting everyone at the table speak.
                        I hope this trend continues!
Okay, now they're talking about a man keeping nude photos of his ex. . .and I'm not interested. Still, the first half hour was terrific.

Let's just pray and hope they can keep up this show to your standards, Hester.
                          Bless you!

And another great show today, January 6th!
I was happy that there wasn't a guest sitting in for Sonny. The show is SO much better when only seasoned panelists are at the table. Otherwise, they spend too much time introducing the guest and the dynamic changes.
Again, great coverage of political topics and IMPORTANT events, including the deeply disturbing video of the abused teen in Chicago. Kudos to the show for covering a difficult topic and speaking out against those depraved teens who terrorized a young man with mental impairments. Up until the chocolates/flowers conversation, it was a very solid show.

BS hester. Where was your compassion about him last night? You clearly avoided the topic, and you were on this board when that news was all over the place. What, did it take you all that time to come up with your statement I quoted above? You don't give a crap about what happened to him. If anything, you took sick pleasure out of it, you disgusting piece of garbage.
And let's countdown how long it will take for you to have this post deleted, you little wimp fruitcake.

I agree 100%. Then they delved into 'The Talk' territory by bringing up the man with the nude photos, which is at the standards of 'The Talk' panel, but too low-brow for what 'The View' is capable of these days. I FF'd it.
