The CEO of Ford said explicitly that it had NOTHING to do with Trump at all, but what was cost-effective for them. Here's a link to the interview he gave with questions asking him about pressure from Trump:

They are still moving the production of the Ford Focus to Mexico as planned. They're just not building a new plant. They have decided to use their existing plant in Hermisillo Mexico, and they will have to invest additional funds there to do it. SMH

America. It's one thing to state in an argument that you want to be clear that you are not rooting against America. But why make a point of stating that you are not rooting

In the context of this discussion, I don't see how a view would be rooting for or against my country. I'm asking why the OP just can't stick to the facts.

Okay, dumb and dumber. Since you cannot follow a train of thought without guidance. What I stated was I'm not rooting for OR against America in a discussion about you twisting facts about Ford. There is no pro or con America in this discussion. It was just your lame attempt to deflect your inability to counter an actual argument with facts. Nice try, and you have long been FRUITCAKE OF THE CENTURY on this board.

I loved what Whoopi had to say about this on Wednesday's show. She hit the nail on the head.
If we're going to praise Trump for 'saving Ford' from leaving the US, then we need to praise Obama for saving the auto industry itself when he went into office. Republicans have never ever given him that credit - ever. If it was up to Mitt Romney in 2008, there would be no auto industry in the USA today.
