That's the part that I don't get. I don't see the need to "march on Washington" at all. If they want to protest DT, there are better ways, but in the end, he's still going to be the President for the whole country for at least 4yrs, barring impeachment. So, wouldn't their efforts be better spent promoting their party for the next election and educating people about why they need to participate in the process?

Marching on Washington is the most effective way, stealing the spotlight on what should be one of his happiest days in his life. His inauguration will be forever marred by protesters who don't want him to be President of this great country, and will go down in history as such.
Sure, he will still be President in the end - but at least their voices were heard that they don't want him in the Oval Office, and the First Amendment will be used at it's best.

They'll have plenty of time for that. But first, they want to make history - and have their voice forever in history as protesting his inauguration for hsi sexual abuse against women. I'm proud of them.

That's the problem. We don't have plenty of time. Do you understand the reason most 3rd party candidates don't get any traction is because they wait to make it known they are running. How many people nationally know who Jill Stein or Gary Johnson are? I wouldn't have voted for either of them, but even if their message had resonated with many in this country, most people don't have a clue who they are.
We need to start getting our message out now. We need a viable party that truly represents those of us in the middle that would rather not vote Democrat for fiscal reasons and refuse to vote Republican because of their views on basic human rights. If we wait, this moment will pass, and all this protest will be is a footnote in the Trump presidency. People need to wake-up and realize this. -

A tremendous amount of networking for change is already taking place as we the plan the march. The news coverage will draw attention to huge objections to Trump's campaign promises. The rest of world - shaking their heads over someone utterly unqualified for office being inaugurated - will see that millions of Americans feel the same. Many female members of Congress are already involved.
