I was just about to post the same thing. To me this was better than the first movie. But I still love the first movie. These two movies are to remain classics forever!!! I'll Always Know is a complete fake.

Eh I wouldn't say it's better than the first lol. Regardless, every now and then I'll get the urge to watch it and watch all the way through. It's the movie equivalent of comfort food. Bad for you, but so good.
I think the majority of the late 90s slashers overall have become a niche category of film, and despite all the suspension of disbelief one must attempt, I'm glad I fall into the group of people that like em.
