Not the best one but still a decent horror movie and scream!

You're right. It's not great but not terrible either. Just your typical slasher movie.

For me Scream 3 will always be my favourite.
It's got a bevy of hot men (Dempsey, Foley, Schreiber, Keeslar).
It's got a kick ass denouement - the Sid vs killer fight is magnificently staged.
It's got a wonderful performance from Neve Campbell who, by this film, has made the role her own.
It's got at least two legends - Henriksen and Fisher.
It's got Ghostface punching a victim in the face before finishing her off - that's never happened before - in costume anyway.
It's got a brilliant performance from an on the money Parker Posey who is also a terrific screamer.
It's got an awesome 'Woodsboro' attack sequence.
And whilst not at their best, at all, it's got Monica from Friends and her, then anyway, real-life hubbie acting up a storm.
If there's anything that might suck it's Monica Geller Bing's 'scream' - in the first it was okay, in the second it was better but in part 3 it blew.
Another thing which bite is jugs McCarthy. She really cannot act. Or scream. But she's not the worst part of the film.
Finally Scream 3 lacks a Cici style murder, although Tyson does suffer similarly.

I agree. As a fan I still love and care about the returning characters. I feel bad Sidney dealing with all this again. The poor thing. That to me says by number 3 the movie is still strong if the viewer still cares and connects with the characters.

I'm in minority but I love Scream 3 as much as Scream 1
