Never would've guessed she wore a wig in this movie. Trivia said it took 2 hours to apply everyday.

Not shorter. Just her hair had red in it from that film she was making Drowning Mona. She made the two films at the same time, that's why she wasn't in Scream 3 as much as Gale and Dewey.

Interesting. Never would have thought a wig. I also didn't consider that some actors/actresses could be in the same movie at the same time either. One day here, there, etc. Timelines. I looked up Drowning Mona and it looks like she does have somewhat long hair. That would explain the wig.
