the only death they show you

With the apartment blowing up in the evening, there would have had to have been a few of Jack's fellow tenants dead. The film shows a big fire and much debris on the ground.

Depending on the construction of the building it could have possibly been contained to his apartment only. But someone could have easily been killed also. Plus didn't they say one of the cops got shot when they shot Robert Paulson also?
