      maybe you should include a qualifier like "crime thriller" because how the hell can you compare totally different genres. You seriously will put it above a sci fi classic like Avatar for example?

            It really was a fantastic film, Denzel absolutely killed it with his performance. Mind blowing.. BUT.. in order for it to be the best of the naughties we have to consider the competition. A few films spring to mind which may just be better but after all this is just my opinion:
            Gladiator
            The Departed
            Memento
            Donnie Darko

              The decade is 2001-2010 ..the next decade starts in 2011.I know people have a hard time with this but it is a fact.

                  Maybe you should review a half-dozen or so scenes if you think this was a
                  realistic
                  film. I realize there needs to be poetic license in a film like this but
                  it was taken to an extreme and eventually brings down
                  TD
                  even if it holds your interest.
