yeah ok, it had a lot of blood, guts, slashings BUTit said it had a lot of strong horror in it. I didn't see any horror. In The Gathering there were at least a few scares and jumpy bits with a monsterNumber 2 there was a monster, number 3 there was a mere attempt at there being a monster, number 1 Isaac is pretty scary when he comes back, and so on, but there was nothing like this apart from Adam Whylie, who was not good. I enjoyed this movie, as the Eva Mendes and the two guys were cool. Yeah but anyway, it needed good old horror. This has gone to the bottom of the rankings in my list

I agree that it's one of the baddest ones. But, there are a few elements I did like. For example, I liked the fact that they incorporated the book that Isaac wrote, the Bible type book. (we see this in COTC 6). I liked that it linked two people from different places in their lives (Allison and her brother Jacob). Also there were a few things I hated. I hated they took the story out of Gatlin and put it into a wannabe town called Divinity Falls. Then, they have an ADULT LEADER!!! Hello, Luke (Michael Caradine). Even though he's a great actor he should not have been taking care of the children. Granted COTC the orginal had an adult in it he was sort of bribed to keep his mouth shut as were the adults in the other COTC films. It just wasn't cool to have an adults as a caretaker to me. Also the one thing I think I hated the most was that they took the orginal way the children sacrificed themselves and turned it into a silo of burning green HWWBTR fire. I HATED THAT!!!! They should walk into the rows like in the orginal. HELLO his name is He Who Walks Behind the Rows, not He Who Rests in a Silo. But anyway that's my view on it. Not the best not the worst.

You also have to remember though the story that Luke tells Allison. About when he was walking out in the cornfield one day and found a child amongst the rows so he decided to take care of that child and nurture him in the ways of He Who Walks Behind the Rows. Also we know that Eezekiel didn't possess Luke because in the first scene of the film the farmer says that he's tired of the kids over at Luke's farm messing around on his land and that he should call the police on those stupid kids. So see Eezekiel wasn't possessed by HWWBTR yet. But that's okay I can see where you could assume your idea.

The Silo and the fact that it was out of Gatlin were the only two things I did not like about this movie.
