Cast Away or The Martian?

Although I see the simliarities, I don't think it's fair to compare.
However, for me Cast Away is definitely better. I love the Martian, but the heart and soul, the acting and of course for me Tom Hanks makes Cast Away superior. -

The Martian. Scary was the fact that Watley could ONLY be saved by NASA. No remote chance that a wanderer was going to sail by and find him. And there was no way he could manufacture a space shuttle to get himself back.

Forrest Gump won all the Oscars, Pulp Fiction was the loser. But what has become the cult classic? Pulp Fiction. Because tommy "douche" hanks. Life is like a box o chocalates… you never know what you gonna get… BULLSHIT! Look at the bottom of the box, it lists all the different chocolates in the box. He's dump AF.
Shaving Ryan's Privates was ok, but that movie with tommy "douche" hanks sucked, bar the first 20 minutes on that beach. Philadelphia is a movie for homosexuals, no real man has seen that, so I can't comment on it, but since it has tommy "douche" hanks in it, it HAS to suck. -
