I prefer Jurassic Park III over Jurassic World.

Only the original is good. That being said I still enjoy watching Jurassic Park III. I like a lot of the sequences in that movie. Not too complicated a plot. Believable acting from the main group. People think they were stupid, and I don't see why being stupid isn't allowed in a character.
Reasons why Jurassic World and Lost World were worse.
-Ingen isn't taking over. (unnecessary subplot that obviously will result in failure. also escaped dinosaurs is more than enough to build on.)
-annoying children. (whiny kids doesn't translate well ever.)
-Misuse of a character/actor (the actor from Life of Pi, and Jeff Goldblum)
-Ridiculous moments (raptors are nice? gymnastics dino take down? t-rex helping to fight O-Rex, and raptor/blue joins?)
-Jurassic World was cheesy.
-Lost World was ambitious. -

no, this is the only film in the franchise that DOESN'T have the Jurassic Park feel. It feels like the odd one out, without this one we'd have an absolutely perfect trilogy where each film added something new to the franchise.

Not really sure how you can consider III just a rehash of the original and not think the same of LW. LW is just a group of people running from T-Rex's and Raptors for two hours without any of the wonder that the first film provided. And those scenes were basically the same thing that was in the first movie. You had people running obstacle courses to get away from the raptors, and hiding in vehicles to defend against the T-Rex's. How many times can you show a giant T-Rex head trying to squeeze into a cave entrance or a tent, or see it's shadow behind someone, or see puddles ripple, or just watch them looking through a window at someone without it losing the effect? Cause how ever many times it took, LW passed that threshold pretty quickly.

I actually agree with you; I did enjoy JW for the most part, but sadly it does not hold up on a rewatch (many of the scenes that were excellent in the theater experience lose their effect on the small screen). JW 3 is vastly underrated, and honestly I feel it gets better on each viewing (though I think the original trilogy gets better on repetive views, since the cast is just so great to watch). None of the cast in JW has the same chemistry that the others in JP, LW and JP 3 do (yes, JP 3 has a good cast, and anything with Michael Jeter (RIP) is worth seeing many times).
History is written by the victor. History is full of liars. -

Slightly agree.
I expected so much from JW and it fell short by a lot (honestly, I wrote a better story in my head than their final product).
JP3 has its problems but it's he most rewatch able sequel and the most fun I think with Alan Grant back.
TLW is boring and JW is too cheesy/campy -

I like all the movies, but nothing will ever really live up to the orginal. Probably because Jurassic Park paved the way for practical effects mixed well with CGI. There was nothing really like it before, so it'll always hold a special place in my heart for that. Plus the story is the best paced of the four, IMO.
However, if I had to put them in order, I'd say Jurassic Park III comes before The Lost World. I like the action scenes better in that one, and honestly not sure why all the hate. I mean, it does kind of recycle TLW's plot in that someone's once again lost on the island, but it's still an enjoyable movie. It's got better rewatch-ability, but I must be in the minority of people who enjoys all the sequels

No, Jurassic World felt like a true sequel to Jurassic Park. It paid homage to the original trilogy(even winking at the spinosaurus vs. t rex duel in JP3), had a likable cast and most importantly pushed the story forward. Jp3 was just a recreation of Jurassic park. The only thing that I wish JW did was bring back some of the original characters, but hopefully they'll make an appearance in JW2. You know, like what fast and the furious did

Jurassic World tried too hard to wink at the fans with it's constant (trite) attempts at cleverness. It feels more like a parody/satire of Jurassic Park than a genuine sequel.
It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing

I absolutely agree.
This movie feels real because of real locations and clever editing blending animatronics with CGI. JW just shows cgi dinosaurs and buildings without any attempt at camouflaging the fakeness of it.
JP 3 also depicts dinosaurs as real animals while JW depicts them as brainless monsters (mosasaur, indominus rex) or humanizes them way too much (nodding raptor).
Oh, and JP3 had way better characters.
