As others have expressed, the sickth sense had the billing and, unfortunately, the PR. Stir of Echoes will always win in a head to head. Poor em knight sclaminallan. Lost a good movie per norm.

I totally agree. Sixth won people over simply because it had a good twist But Stir was a genuinely creepy film, that is still creepy today.

Disagree.
The main enjoyment I get now from rewatching Sixth Sense revolves around knowing the twist and admiring the clever way it was donetotally different way of viewing than the first time (when I was totally clueless.)
Stir of Echoes holds up, but I only watch it every few years, when I've forgotten enough of the details to make it interesting again. -

The way the twist is done in The Sixth Sense is anything but clever. Anything but. You do seem like a clever person, however, so I guess there must be some kind of candid bias at play here. Every human being who's ever lived was/is biased towards/against something -anything-, without exceptions, so, that's just the way things are.
