Were you there when Kroenen was naked? I think that that's the kind of thing girls want to see when they see an attractive man. But, um, Kroenen is hideous underneath that suit. He can't blink or speak. It wouldn't surprise me to learn that Kroenen didn't even possess sexual organs. I mean, in his condition what would be the point? Kroenen is definitely cool, very agile, but sexy? You have a strange definition.

Yeah in the begining of the film the professer mentioned he castrated himself or however that word is spelled.

Well, I've got the guide. It says that he was severely damaged and put back to gether by a couple of scientists, including a head in a jar. Afterwards, "he was never seen without the suit again". Now I know Hollywood wanted a cool villain, but in the comics, Kroenen was no warrior. He was a scientist. But, that aside, yes, he looks cool, he's a suave, lithe fighter, but underneath the suit . . . ::shivers::.

Is that a real psychological disease? I know there are people who feel the need to amputate their limbs eventhough they are perfectly healthy.

I don't ever recall hearing about it, but it might some kind of advanced, aggravated form of masochism, with a focus on self-mutilation.

I might have missed it but wasn't he talking about Rasputin there?

About the erm, snippy snippy; yes Broom was talking about Rasputin. Far as I'm aware, that didn't happen to the real Rasputin; he was poisoned several times with cake laced with something nasty oddly enough though, the wine he was drinking was the antidote to the poison, so every time he keeled over, he'd come back again. Eventually, his poisoners got sick of this and threw him in the river.
With regard to Kroenen; I do find it funny that Broom himself is the reason that the guy has a clockwork hand. Even if that grenade hadn't blown off his fingers, the blast swung his arm into those metal blades. Chop-chop!
And yes, surgical addiction is very real, (Look at that Wildenstein woman.) though I've never heard of anyone removing their eyelids and lips, since without eyelids you'd go blind and without lips well, lots of problems there.

If I were a girl i'd find Kroenen devistatingly sexy. In the suit obviously, not underneath. But as a male I have a real interest in guys who have some kind of injury that forces them to wear a suit, or something similar. Guys like Darth Vader, The Joker and of course Kroenen are really, really cool to me. Amd his leather SS uniform would be enough to make me wanna play the part in the movie for free

In the novel, Kroenen only wears the face mask because it makes some people uncomfortable. Though personally, I never figured him for the type that gave a rodent's bottom what other people thought

I'm going to have to agree that Kroenen's totally sexy, even under the suit.
Hell yes. Undead clockwork Nazi assasin's totally get me off.
That sounds sarcastic, but I'm serious.
Kroenen's too awesome for me not to think that he's sexy.
At the end of the day, does it really matter that he's horribly mutilated under all that form-fitting leather and spandex?

I don't remember reading or hearing anywhere, that Kroenen castrated himself (who came up with this anyway?), so he pretty much has a penis

This post was crazy when I originally read it over a decade ago (geez) but now that we're in the age of monsterlovers, I can't be shocked
