Damn I can't believe it's been four whole years since I last watched the whole season of this show, October 2008! Anyway, besides when it was out in the 90's (and I was only a kid that couldn't stay up late to watch it), the only real time I caught it from start to finish was with beep quality on YouTube. Four years ago there was no American version of this available, only the Region 2 DVD release and it looks like in the past four years things haven't changed.
Come on! Who ever was in charge of this show/owns the rights now, they should do a proper DVD/Blu Ray release of it. I know Blu Ray takes time/money to do, but still, they could always aim to bundle with a new game release or something, or in conjunction with the rumored next movie. It's only right for us loyal fans of 20+ years and for people who still are actually watching the reruns of this show. Even a legitimate USA DVD release. All we have is Region 2 DVD that I can't watch.
It's a shame this show got side lined. But because it's so old and faded out, I don't think anyone has any real interest in coming out with a DVD or anything, mainly because it's not profitable enough. MK has been a franchise that has had enormous success but then terrible flops in both film and games. Still, I wish someone would save it and release a proper version of it.

There may be a slight chance a dvd box set release when or if a new Mortal Kombat film is made.Studios always seem to bring out a dvd cash in of old franchaise material when a new film is made.
