"Hey look kids! Pop Corn is back!"
Never watched any of these and don't care to.
I would say it's typical that a franchise gets worse with the more movies they keep on adding on hoping that one of them will be as popular as the first one or two.
It becomes quantity over quality.
(See Star Wars and James Bond for other examples.)
When you see, "Direct to video," that is a red flag.

Yeah, I was just completing the series until it made to 2000 and then gave up after that. It's one of those things.
