Although this is one of my least favorite entries, the new Echo Bridge BluRay offers 5 & 6 in full HD 16x9 1.78:1 (he actual full camera negative) transfers with HD DTS master audio (2.0 - not just "stereo" like it says on the cover). Looks amazing and sounds great. Blows the old DVDs out of the water.

You either work for them or you are insane. This is hands down the worst looking Blu-ray I have ever seen. Smearing, artifacting, ghosting you name it. It looks like something you'd get on one of those Mill Creek budget packs, but those only cost 25 cents a movie or whatever. ALL of their Blus are subpar but they are reference quality compared to this one (based on the ones I've watched anyway - Halloween 6, H20, Hellraiser Bloodline, COTC3 Urban Harvest, and COTC5 Fields of Terror).
Agree that this is one of the weakest in the series though.

I neither work for them, nor am I insane. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to compare the old DVDs to the new BluRays. The films were made on very low budget and not with the best equipment to start with. People are so quick to bitch. I, for one, am happy to have these films on BluRay at all.

I'm pretty sure Mill Creek and Echo Bridge are one in the same. I have the DVD for COTC666 and it looks terrible, unlike the transfer of Crow: Wicked Prayer, which is also a terrible film released by the same company at the same time yet looks nearly perfect by comparison.
These Echo Bridge folks seem rather shady. I wrote a review on Amazon for COTCII and received an unusual and abrupt amount of negative votes, as did everyone else who commented on its quality (or lack thereof), something which the average customer would love to know.
