I'm sorry but I have to disagree with a lot of your choices here. It's not that I think they're good movies, but because they're such awful drek that you just
have
to see them.
I've seen most of the movies you've listed here and will also say that I own about half of them although I'm still looking for cut-rate copies of "Son of the Mask", "Master of Disguise" and "Bloodrayne". For all the terrible these movies contain, they still have a certain putrid charm that must be seen to be believed. -

Wow. How did I miss Robocop 3? It's one of the "sickening six" that I gave a 1/10 rating to. Terrible, TERRIBLE film!
On the other hand, I kinda liked The Happening. It was patently ridiculous, but it was meant to be. And there was something inherently satisfying about
watching John Leguisamo's character prepare to kill himself. -

I agree about removing "Expelled". It was pretty well done, but controversial. Also, it was a documentary, not a movie.
Man, now I'm curious about most of these movies!

From that list I have seen :
Batman & Robin
Battlefield Earth
Date Movie
Epic Movie
Highlander II
In the Name of the King : A Dungeon Siege Tale
The Love Guru
Meet the Spartans
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
The Village
Zodiac
I thought Zodiac was very good!(or was it a different Zodiac?)
Higlander II had its moments
I had a blast watching Dungeon Siege.
You forgot Doom

Someone should add "The Apple" to this list. Or not, since it's so bad it's fascinating. What other film would show the "future" of 1994 as being a place where disco queens ruled the world and forced people to put triangles on their heads and dance? What other film would show a man in gold underwear dancing with people in cheap Party City costumes and telling a chick to eat a volleyball? And what other film would show God taking the hippies away in his flying Rolls Royce?
I also respectfully nominate Rhinestone, since Sly singing country causes me pain. -

- Heaven's Gate
Heaven's gate was an expensive flop and most of the critics who bad mouthed it later changed their minds. In fact, most of the bad reviews were not about the quality of the movie but about the excess of hollywood and a backlash to the new management at UA after Arthur Krim left and started Orion pictures. Most of these critics also went back when Heaven's Gate came out and decided to change their reviews for The Deer Hunter calling that a horrible film.
The Deer Hunter survived because its initial response was positive. Heaven's Gate didn't because people only remember their first impressions of the film(which barely got any theater play due to the scathing reviews). Both films also rewrote history which got a lot of attention at time.
It is far from a bad movie and you are mistaken to place it in this list. It's a pretentious and excessive piece of cinema, but its still good and enjoyable to any person who appreciates art house films. Its period detail, cinematography, and musical score are exceptional.
And most of the performances are great in it, especially with that cast: Christopher Walken, Kris Kristofferson, Isabella Huppert, John Hurt, Sam Waterston, Willem Dafoe(his first film), Brad Dourif, Joseph Cotton, Jeff Bridges, Mickey Rourke, etc.
The movie is notorious for ruining Cimino's career(he never recovered) and bankrupting United Artist(which isn't true actually. UA was owned by Transamerica which was prosperous enough to write off the budget. The company was sold because MGM offered them a great price, Despite a few hits like Raging Bull, the Bond Film, and That years ROCKY film, none of their movies made profit and UA was down effecting the Transamerica Stock. While Heaven's Gate publicity for being a flop didn't help the company, its not possible it bankrupted it).
If you're just an average film goer, i probably wouldn't recommend the film. If you are a cinema Lover, Heaven's Gate should be on a list for movies you must see because its best qualities rise above its faults.
And also since 30 years as passed, people now are more likely to judge the film itself and not how the press it received.
