This Canadian loves mayonnaise! Storebought is OK, but homemade is best. And don't ever confuse mayonnaise with "Miracle Whip", which is a boiled dressing. Mayonnaise is good mixed with tuna, or mixed with yogurt and ranch dressing as a dip for veggies, or spread on sandwiches and burgers - but fries with mayonnaise? Ewwwww.

4-I don't really like it.
I am American, but I don't think that has much to do with liking or disliking mayonnaise, as everyone else in my family likes it except me.

(5) Absolutely loathe mayonaise I always ask if it is on something, request food without it and if it comes on the food anyway I send the food back.
My son used to live in Montreal and people there seem to put it on everything. -

You're asking the wrong question. It's not "How do you feel about mayonnaise?" It's "How do you feel about mayonnaise on burgers?"
There is nothing wrong with mayo, in its place. But that place is NOT on a burger. Its place is also NOT on fries, or hot dogs, or meat balls.
It belongs on a turkey sandwich, in tuna salad, and in deviled eggs.
Burgers (and fries) get ketchup. Hot dogs get mustard. Meat balls get red sauce or brown gravy.

(1) LOVE IT
also on fries, scrambled eggs (prefer miracle whip for those however) and on BLTs and of course dipping turkey in it.
I called it the 'food of the gods' to someone who hated it when I was younger a mixture of oils and water that would normally not be possible somehow is.
Of the brands typically found at supermarkets I will pay extra for Hellmann's (also known as "best foods"). All other brands suck comparatively speaking and I end up throwing them in the trash shortly after trying them. Maybe better exist online but I'm not paying 10 bucks for 32 ounces of mayo. -

Mayonaise: Is a mixture of raw eggs and an acid (vinegar or lemon juice etc) and an oil (olive or other) with other additives (mustard, garlic, salt etc) to taste.
Raw eggs should not be eaten by certain people especially pregnant women.
I prefer a garlic/basil pesto on my hamburgers but then again I had a friend who would put crushed walnuts and syrup on his tastes differ. -

I used to love it - as in ate it on and with everything. That and ranch. Then I got on a pretty strict diet for volleyball season and never looked back. I certainly don't hate it but I can't eat it like I used to otherwise my stomach gets really upset and my skin begins to get all pimply.
I eat it once in a while if I'm in a hurry or at a restaurant.
