It's like a mediocre student newscast now!

Yes especially with the recent school leave and his pointless "top 5"!

Yup, the new style is total wank.

Changing the format so that it's virtually the same as the movie review show on BBC News (can't remember the name, but it sucks) is just an incredibly stupid move and has ruined the show. I don't want to see Claudia Winkleman interview some generic film critic journalist who is doing the actual film review. That's not what Film # is about. Does the BBC really not have available someone that can both review films and has the charisma to be the host?
The show format used to make it quite classy (even with Jonathan Ross hosting, who's not normally someone you'd use that to describe) but now it just looks cheap and trashy and totally indistinct from other movie review shows except perhaps in the bizarre way it feels like a day time TV chat show.
Like or dislike Ross, you always got the impression he was really into movies when he was talking about it. With Winkleman you feel she is wondering why she is there about as much as we are.
I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own.

                Very well said!
(As opposed to my rather more childish comment above. I stand by it though.)
