SpongeBob and Patrick were almost not allowed in because they were about to demolish it. But when they went in, it was a full house of people.

Trying to make some reasonable logic of SpongeBob: There were probably more people there than usual to enjoy Glove World one more time before the surprise of what opened instead at the end.
