I was at my boyfriends house, meeting his parents for the first time. His mom was browsing through family photos, and I saw a picture of my boyfriend and his brother. I said "Oh, your brother's so cute!" Turns out it was his teenage sister. Oops.
Another time, I was meeting a different boyfriend's stepfather. He got drunk and started telling me (in front of his whole family) why I could do better than his stepson. Very awkward.
Anyone else have one?

Meeting the parents is nothing. Meeting your girlfriend's children is absolutely terrifying.
